Terms of Service

Last updated: April 22, 2026

Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using the Cardinality Capital website (the “Site”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Nature of the Site

Cardinality Capital is an informational directory that lists equity crowdfunding campaigns associated with Stanford University alumni. The Site does not facilitate, broker, or execute any investment transactions. All investment activity occurs exclusively through third-party, SEC-registered funding portals linked from this Site.

2. Not Investment Advice

Nothing on this Site constitutes investment advice, a solicitation, a recommendation, or an offer to buy or sell any security. Information presented is for general informational purposes only. You should consult a licensed financial advisor before making any investment decision. Investing in early-stage companies involves substantial risk, including the potential loss of your entire investment.

3. No Affiliation with Stanford University

Cardinality Capital is an independent private entity. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Stanford University, the Stanford Alumni Association, or any Stanford University department or program. Use of the word “Stanford” is solely descriptive of the founders’ academic background.

4. Third-Party Links

The Site contains links to external crowdfunding platforms and company pages. Cardinality Capital has no control over the content, accuracy, or availability of those external sites and is not responsible for any loss or damage arising from your use of them. Inclusion of a link does not constitute an endorsement.

5. Accuracy of Information

We strive to keep campaign listings current and accurate, but we make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the completeness, accuracy, or reliability of any information on the Site. Campaign status, funding amounts, and other details may change without notice.

6. Intellectual Property

All original content on this Site—including text, design elements, and layout—is the property of Cardinality Capital and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce or redistribute content without prior written permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cardinality Capital and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Site, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

11. Severability

If any portion of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the unenforceable portion will be deemed amended to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and if it can’t be made enforceable, then it will be severed and the remaining portion will remain in full force and effect. If we fail to enforce any of these Terms, it will not be considered a waiver. Any amendment to or waiver of these Terms must be made in writing and signed by us.
